Defined by Place. Moved by the Tide.
Fifteen years after creating the County of Annapolis municipal brand, SperryDesign was invited back - this time to tell a different story.
A story about a destination.
There’s a reason people come here.
And there’s a reason people stay.
It’s the river you grew up beside. The trail you know by heart. The highest tides in the world, rising and falling as they always have. The stories held in Fort Anne and Port Royal. The kind of history you don’t just read - you stand in.
For Annapolis County’s new tourism identity, we didn’t need to invent a sense of place.
It was already here.
In the land. The water. The history. The communities. And an outdoor life that isn’t something people visit - —it’s something people live.
We distilled that into a bold, contemporary identity designed to travel: from trailheads and roadside signs to jackets, vehicles and everything that carries the County out into the world.
A brand built to live in the wild.
For those discovering Annapolis County for the first time - and for those who have always known where they belong.
Annapolis County.
Built for the Great Outdoors.
