SperryDesign is an independent design studio based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, creating brands, places and experiences that connect people to ideas — and to each other.

We work across brand identity, graphic design, environmental design, signage and wayfinding, interpretation, digital, print and photography, bringing strategy, creativity and execution together under one roof.

Our work can live almost anywhere: across a city waterfront, throughout an international cruise terminal, inside a national park, on the side of a ten-storey building, within a new residential community, online, in print — or simply in the palm of your hand.

What connects it all is how we think.

We dig in. We ask questions. We find the story worth telling and the idea worth building around. Then we make it clear, memorable and beautifully executed.

Over the years, we've collaborated with governments, developers, architects, cultural institutions, tourism organizations, universities, national brands and ambitious businesses across Canada. Some projects begin with a name or a logo. Others begin with a landscape, a building, a visitor journey or a problem nobody quite knows how to solve yet.

Those are often our favourites.

Design Professionals of Canada/ Professionels du design du Canada (DesCan) is the pre-eminent authority for the advancement, development, and support of design professionals in Canada. DesCan administers a national certification program for those members whose services meet a rigorous standard of professional and ethical conduct in the design community. Certified members are exclusively licensed to use the Certified Design Professional mark. Established in 1956, DesCan has proudly served Canadians for nearly seven decades.
